Half originals, half covers reimagined from the ground up: "Sweet Jane" and "Don't You Forget About Me" as groovy folk-rock jams rather than note-for-note copies. I'm a multi-instrumentalist living under some of the darkest skies in Colorado, and I've been playing for more than 40 years. From 1990–1991 I was a producer at Suge Knight's Funky Enough Records in Los Angeles, with acts like The D.O.C. and DJ Quik. From 2018 to 2024 I focused on songwriting, session work, and production with artists like Eric Krause, Steve D. Wilson, and Cinco Barnes. In 2025 I shifted my focus to playing live, both solo and with artists like violinist Wendi Westman.
On stage I move between guitar and bass depending on who else is in the band that night. I build each lineup from a rolodex of local players, and a looper covers any empty seat so the groove never thins out.
I'm just as happy backing up someone else — filling in on guitar or bass, helping finish a stuck song, or recording in my home studio (hear a few tracks). If you need help realizing your musical goals, let's talk.
